The Patriot Pass credentials are used to access most Mason systems (e.g., Patriot Web, myMason) and are set when you activate your account. If your password is forgotten or expired, you can reset it on the Patriot Pass Password Management page. This site is also used to manage your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) account methods.

Ink2Go is an extremely simple yet powerful screen annotation and recording software.


Telephone lines and voice mailboxes are provided for faculty, staff, departmental spaces, and student organizations. Virtual Computing Services includes Patriot Virtual Computing & Labs (PVCL).


Office 365, Mason’s email and calendar system, contains tools to support collaboration. This includes creating distribution lists for mass mailings, generic accounts for use by departments/clubs, and blocking unwanted messages (SPAM). In addition, you can request a change to how your name is displayed.


Banner is a closed system and an administrative interface that allows authorized users with legitimate needs to perform administrative duties within major functional areas. Patriot Web is a self-service site for students, faculty, and staff to manage their administrative records and accounts.


Mason provides wired and wireless network access for faculty, staff, students, and guests in every campus facility.


The Architectural Standards Review Board (ASRB) is responsible for reviewing, verifying compliance, and providing recommendations for new and upgrade software and hardware procurement projects.


Computer labs offer the university community access to computing resources and a variety of software to support learning, teaching, and research. Labs have printers available through the pay-for-print (PFP) network. To reserve equipment and/or other lab resources, select Reserve Resources.


Webconferencing tools are available for use in classes and meetings.


RAMP is an integrated research web-based system to support Mason’s growing research enterprise. This system reduces duplication of efforts and better supports faculty. It allows users to capture research-related data in one system improving reporting and data-driven decision-making. RAMP helps improve compliance with sponsor regulations and requirements through streamlined workflow and an automated reminder system.


The Portfolio and Project Management Office (PPMO) supports consistent portfolio and project management practices for Information Technology Services (ITS), enabling project leaders to successfully deliver their promised value to their customers. All current projects and requests in Mason’s Project Inventory are tracked and managed via a dashboard. The dashboard consists of multiple visualizations, each offering multiple options to sort and filter the information to see what is most relevant to you.


Canvas, George Mason's Learning Management System, contains many tools to support teaching and learning. A number of third party tools are integrated into Canvas, such as Kaltura, Poll Everywhere, Turnitin, Honorlock.


Microsoft allows George Mason University to provide the latest version of Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, and other Microsoft products at no cost. Access is tied to your Mason email address.


Adobe Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX, and more.


ITS supports a variety of public domain and site-licensed software to the Mason Community. View an A-Z listing of available here. You may also make requests for, or report issues with certain Software titles.


Mason offers Cable Television Service for campus buildings and residence halls.


Desktop planetarium application which renders the skies in real-time using OpenGL, which means the skies will look exactly like what you see with your eyes, binoculars, or a small telescope.


Some university processes or departmental business may require working with Highly Sensitive Data (HSD). In such cases, authorization is required to ensure this data is used in compliance with university, state, and federal standards and stored properly and securely.
