Mason offers several data storage solutions for your studies, research, and work. The definitions for each ITS supported storage solution are included below. If you are using storage provided by the Office of Research Computing, please contact the Office of Research Support Team.

Patriot Drive

The Patriot Drive on-premise storage is part of the university’s departmental shared storage system. Network File Storage space is allocated to Mason departments to store and share files - primarily to facilitate Access databases and automated file transfers. Mason departments can request new Patriot Drive department shares that can be accessed by multiple Mason personnel. These are backed up daily. There are several levels of access for Patriot Drive shares.
