Microsoft allows George Mason University to provide the latest version of Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, and other Microsoft products at no cost. Access is tied to your Mason email address.
Mason provides wired and wireless network access for faculty, staff, students, and guests in every campus facility.
Office 365, Mason’s email and calendar system, contains tools to support collaboration. This includes creating distribution lists for mass mailings, generic accounts for use by departments/clubs, and blocking unwanted messages (SPAM). In addition, you can request a change to how your name is displayed.
Telephone lines and voice mailboxes are provided for faculty, staff, departmental spaces, and student organizations. The Patriot Pass credentials are used to access most Mason systems (e.g., Patriot Web, myMason) and are set when you activate your account. If your password is forgotten or expired, you can reset it on the Patriot Pass Password Management page. This site is also used to manage your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) account methods.
Adobe Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX, and more.
The Business Intelligence Services team provides support for users of MicroStrategy, Mason’s enterprise business intelligence tool.

Canvas, George Mason's Learning Management System, contains many tools to support teaching and learning. A number of third party tools are integrated into Canvas, such as Kaltura, Poll Everywhere, Turnitin, Honorlock.
Banner is a closed system and an administrative interface that allows authorized users with legitimate needs to perform administrative duties within major functional areas. Patriot Web is a self-service site for students, faculty, and staff to manage their administrative records and accounts.
Banner Central Support provides back-end support for Banner including customization, data analysis and integration, as well as custom software support.
This service contains different offerings that can be used to automate all or part of a document process.
Technology Support Services (TSS) provides full-service, technical desktop support to faculty and staff for Mason-owned and -managed devices.
Classroom Support provides assistance to faculty and staff for classroom facilities and computer classrooms.
ITS uses TeamDynamix as the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Tool. This tool is used by several departments within the University and is free to those that would like to be added user base.

Mason provides access to its network and telephone service via data jacks that are located in university buildings. Not all jacks are activated at all times.
