IMPORTANT

There is no charge for jack activation and assessment services or for network access, but monthly charges apply to all telephone services. If the installation of a new jack is required, the installation charge and any monthly recurring charges such as Phone or Cable TV costs will be billed to the requesting department.

Data Jack Support
Mason provides access to the wired network and telephone service via data jacks that are located in university buildings. Not all jacks are activated at all times. The Telecom Coordinator for your department may request this service by submitting a request.
Network Cable Assessment
Prior to activation, an ITS technician will evaluate the condition of the designated network and telephone jacks to ensure that they are in proper working order.
