Display Name Change

This service allows users to request a change in their displayed name and/or NetID. This service is used to update Mason applications such as Office 365 services after a legal name change. You may also wish to update your chosen name through the Registrar.

How We Can Help

For assistance with the following, select the Display Name Change button:

  • Display Name Change (Students, Faculty & Staff)
  • NetID Change (Student, Faculty & Staff)

Note: NetID changes can only be requested if an official name change has been made on record with the Registrar (Students) or HR (Faculty & Staff).
