Residence Halls
Residence halls are provided with on-campus basic cable by our cable television provider, Boldyn HED/Apogee, which offers on-campus residents more than 100 channels of coax feed digital TV. Residents can also watch their favorite shows and sports on a variety of devices by downloading the Stream2 app.
University Townhouses on Chain Bridge Road and the Residence Hall at the Smithsonian Mason Conservation Center in Front Royal can only access the Stream2 app.
A closed-circuit cable television system is provided on campus for programming by George Mason departments for entertainment and informational purposes.
Access is limited to students living in the residence halls and departments in university buildings on the Fairfax Campus.
Academic & Administrative Buildings
Buildings on the Fairfax Campus have access to the same on-campus basic cable service which provides service to the Residence Halls with over 100 channels of programming.

Access is limited to departments in most university buildings on the Fairfax Campus. The Science &Technology Campus and Mason Square have access to the Stream2 app.
Note: There is a monthly recurring charge for cable access in university buildings. To request Cable Television services, please contact your Telecom Coordinator and have them open a Pinnacle ticket.
Science & Technology Campus & Mason Square
IPTV’s service Stream2 is available on the Science and Technology Campus and Mason Square. For faculty and staff it is intended to allow you to watch your favorite shows and sports on a Smart TV (via Roku, Amazon Fire TV Stick, or Apple TV).
Policy
All users of George Mason University cable television services must adhere to University Policy Number 1106: On-Campus Cable Television Channel Allocation and Operation.
