Cable Television for Campus Buildings

Buildings on the Fairfax Campus have access to the same on-campus basic cable service which provides service to the Residence Halls with over 100 channels of programming.

A closed-circuit cable television system is provided on campus for programming by Mason departments for entertainment and informational purposes.

Access is limited to departments in most university buildings on the Fairfax Campus. The Science &Technology Campus and Mason Square have access to the Stream2 app.

Note: There is a monthly recurring charge for cable access in university buildings. To request Cable Television services, please contact your Telecom Coordinator and have them open a Pinnacle ticket.

Science & Technology Campus & Mason Square

IPTV’s service Stream2 is available on the Science and Technology Campus and Mason Square. For faculty and staff it is intended to allow you to watch your favorite shows and sports on a Smart TV (via Roku, Amazon Fire TV Stick, or Apple TV).

Policy

All users of George Mason University cable television services must adhere to University Policy Number 1106: On-Campus Cable Television Channel Allocation and Operation.
