Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) provides in-depth technical research, knowledge, and best practices to published research focusing on in-depth strategic analysis of information technology trends, vendors, products, and technologies. GTP provides unlimited access to all IT staff for direct conversations with Gartner’s team of 100+ technical professional experts for 60-minute inquiries. GTP provides deep technical insight on the following areas:

To Log In
To access Gartner GTP, visit the Gartner website, and sign in with your Direct Access credentials (your Mason email address and unique password).
Note: All ITS staff are provisioned Direct Access logins automatically. If you have misplaced or forgotten your password, use the “Forgot username or password” option found on the Gartner website login page. All other IT staff at Mason must request GTP Access in order to be provisioned a Direct Access account.

To request access to Gartner for Technical Professionals, please submit a Request GTP Access ticket.
Note About Higher Education Reference (Core Research)
Users granted access to GTP are also granted access to Core Research. If you have a Direct Access login for GTP, you will need to use this login to access Core Research resources. You will be unable to access Core Research resources utilizing your SSO login after you have been granted GTP access.
